We would love to build up a history of Scouting here at Drighlington, and hopefully on this page and the links to the left you can find and contribute in documenting Scouting in the village. Were you a Scout, Cub, Beaver? Then we would love to hear your stories, see any photos you might have or share your scouting highlights, Who was your section leader? Did you run a Section? How long did you run one and which section, who were your assistants, what did your programme look like, where did you hold your meetings? Are you just an interested bystander; did anybody from your family get involved in Scouting, do you remember Bob-A-Job, or the Garden Parties that were held annually. Did you wave to the floats as they went passed your house on their way to the Gala? Whatever your story is please post or email them so we can ensure that the village history continues for the next generation of Scouts.
